Today's Recipe -BREAKSTONE'S Classic Cheesy Potatoes Here's a cheesy, tasty potato side dish for a crowd that goes together in 10 minutes and bakes until golden brown in less than an hour.

Servings: 12

Ingredients

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 1/2 cups BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat Sour Cream

1 (32 ounce) package frozen Southern-style hash browns, thawed

1 (8 ounce) package KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

20 RITZ Crackers, crushed

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix soup and sour cream in large bowl. Add potatoes and cheese; stir until well blended.

2. Spoon mixture into 13x9-inch baking dish. Combine cracker crumbs and butter; sprinkle over potato mixture.

3. Bake 50 minutes or until heated through.

Today's Recipe - Mini Cheesecakes - This is a delicious recipe that is perfect for an on-the-go snack. Plus it is a great snack for kids.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 tablespoon margarine, melted

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 6 cup muffin pan. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and margarine with a fork until combined. Measure a rounded tablespoon of the mixture into the bottom of each muffin cup, pressing firmly. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 5 minutes, then remove to cool. Keep the oven on.

3. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and vanilla until fluffy. Mix in the egg.

4. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the muffin cups, filling each until 3/4 full. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 25 minutes. Cool completely in pan before removing. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This makes a great group read and from experience I can tell you that it can lead to many good discussions with the little ones as to the importance of exercise and activity. I can most certainly recommend the addition of this one to your child's library or to any school and classroom library.

Steven Ettinger has produced a book that is sorely needed but presents it in a fun and engaging format. Parents should include this book in their children's library. It makes exercising fun for kids and their families. Highly recommended.

Full color illustrations and kid-friendly rhymes guide young readers through a day in the life of an extremely lazy dog named Wallie. However, this is no ordinary day, and as it progresses, Wallie gradually becomes aware that exercise does not always mean hard labor.

Otherwise, a good effort at reaching the generation who would much rather play video games than go outdoors. This is a cute illustrated book designed to get kids thinking about exercising, and to give parents ideas for facilitating exercise-promoting activities.

This is a wonderful show for kids and adults! Kids love the action and imaginative story lines while adults can learn more about saving the environment and being green! It's also gives kids great inspiration to save the planet as well. I loved the show as a kid and I especially loved that green mullet! GO PLANET!

This was one of my favorite television shows as a child. I cannot tell you how excited I am that it is finally on DVD. The Captain Planet series deals with ethics and morals surrounding the environment unlike any other cartoon series to date. This is definitely a show that parents can let their children watch without being concerned over the content.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular cartoons of the 90s, this classic is finally making its way to DVD. Whether you are reliving your childhood or introducing this series to new kids, its sure to become a classic revisited or a new classic for some. The show featured a Hollywood cast, great stories, music and animation. A must have for all nostalgic cartoon fans or for those looking to find a quality well told animated series on DVD.

More children should identify with nature, teamwork, and come together as the original Planeteers did to make a word wide difference. Being a 30 year old Planeteer myself, I could not be more excited about this! The Power is Yours!

If you are looking for a serious dance game this one is not for you. If, however ,you want a game that you can just have "silly fun" with then this is a great choice. My husband and I had to finally pull ourselves away from it because we were having just to much fun with it.

Me and my family we like canned fruit cocktails, and one of our favorite brands to buy is Del Monte. We got to review the Del Monte Very Cherry Mixed Fruit. It contains grapes, pieces of peach, pear, and red cherry. The fruit pieces are in light syrup, also cherry flavored. The can is easy to open, one of those with a ring attached to the top - you just pull the ring up, pop the lid open, and remove it, no need for can opener.

This fruit cocktail is delicious as it is. However, there are several other ways to serve it. You can make a quick dessert by serving this mixed fruit with delicious recipes. Here are two delicious recipes that are easy and great to try with your family.

Very Cherry Mixed Fruit Crisp

Ingredients

2 cans (15 oz. each) Del Monte® Very Cherry Mixed Fruit, No Sugar Added, drained

1/2 cup flour

1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/3 cup old-fashioned oats

1/3 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened

Optional ingredients - Low-fat frozen yogurt or ice cream

Directions

1. Place fruit in 8x8-inch baking dish or pie plate.

2. Combine flour, sugar, oats, walnuts and cinnamon. Mix in butter until crumbly; sprinkle evenly over fruit.

3. Bake at 425°F, 15 to 20 minutes or until topping is golden. Serve with low-fat frozen yogurt or ice cream, if desired.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Sunrise Sundae

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups low-fat granola or other cereal

1 carton (8 oz.) low-fat plain or vanilla yogurt

1 can (15 oz.) Del Monte® Very Cherry Mixed Fruit, No Sugar Added, drained

Directions

Spoon alternating layers of granola, yogurt and fruit in 3 tall glasses.

Tip: For easy variety, use the 6-pack assorted cereals and other Del Monte Fruits. Prep time: 5 minutes

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

These delicious treats are a hit with kids and grownups alike. Who can resist fresh cookie dough!

Servings: 12

Ingredients

* 1 cup butter, softened

* 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed

* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

* 1 tablespoon water

* 2 cups all-purpose flour

* 3/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

* 3/4 cup chopped walnuts, if desired

Directions

1. Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir in the vanilla, water, flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts, if desired, and mix until well blended. Roll dough into bite-sized balls (or use a small ice cream scoop). Place on a baking sheet and freeze until firm, about 2 hours. Store balls in resealable plastic bags in the freezer.

I was sent a whole cooler full of the new Weight Watchers Fresh Meals. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety offered. This new line of Weight Watchers Fresh Meals are fresh not frozen and can be found in the deli ready-to-go section of the grocery store. If you are a Weight Watchers member the PointsPlus are listed right on the front of the package. If you follow any other plan, full nutritional information is found on the side or back of the package. There are thirteen different meals in all, giving you tons of options. These new Weight Watchers Fresh Meals offer 13 different entrees and 6 fresh deli salads in addition to the ones shown here there is a rainbow pasta, seafood salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw and garden vegetables. In addition to the thirteen fresh meals, there are six new Weight Watchers fresh deli salads. These include a seafood salad in a lemon-dill dressing; chicken salad with dried cranberries; rainbow pasta salad with garden vegetables; potato salad in a creamy mustard dressing; macaroni salad with bell peppers and chives; and coleslaw with fresh carrots and onions. In each salad, there are two servings.

The meals are affordable as well. Only $2.99 for the fresh meals and between $1.99-$2.99 for the deli.

The roast turkey with a cranberry dressing topped with a seasoned turkey gravy was my favorite. The dressing was tasty with the addition of the cranberries. First I must admit that I really am a huge fan of potato salad. The chicken salad made a perfect sandwich for me at lunch time. I really liked this one! It is made with white meat, cranberries, celery and onion with a light mayonnaise.

I really enjoy trying the new Weight Watchers Fresh Meals. Give them a try especially if you are on a diet and trying to lose weight you will enjoy them while losing a few pounds!!! :)

FLOWER POWER CUPCAKES RECIPE

Flower Power Cupcakes These delicious cupcakes have a decorative marshmallow flower on top.

Servings: 24

Ingredients

* 1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

* 1 cup boiling water

* 1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Brand Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

* 1 (8 ounce) tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

* Few drops food coloring, any color

* 24 JET-PUFFED marshmallows

* 24 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

* 1/4 cup colored sugar or colored sprinkles

Directions

1. Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on package for 24 cupcakes; cool completely. Pierce cupcakes with wooden skewer or large fork at 1/4-inch intervals. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Spoon 2 tsp. of the gelatin over each cupcake. Refrigerate 3 hours.

2. Tint whipped topping with food coloring; spread about 2 Tbsp. of the whipped topping onto each cupcake.

3. Cut each large marshmallow crosswise into five pieces with clean kitchen scissors to resemble flower petals. Arrange five of the petals in flower shape on top of each cupcake; place a miniature marshmallow in center of each group of petals. Sprinkle each with 1/2 tsp. colored sugar. Store in refrigerator.
