FROGGY CUPCAKES FOR KIDS

Me and my daughter Brielle made these FROGGY CUPCAKES over the weekend. The recipe is very easy to do and the kids will have fun making these FROGGY CUPCAKES. CAKE ANATOMY:

INGREDIENTS:

12 cupcakes baked in green paper liners

1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
Green food coloring

3 strands red licorice laces

1 roll Fruit by the Foot red fruit leather

48 brown M&M's

24 spearmint leaves

1 tube (4.25 oz) black decorating icing

½ cup green decorating sugar

24 green gummy apple rings

WHAT YOU'LL NEDD:

A resealable sandwich-size plastic bag

TO PREPARE THE CANDY:

1.) Cut the red licorice laces into 24 (3-inch) pieces.

2.) Cut the red Fruit by the Foot into 24 (1 ½-inch) ovals.
3.) Cut the green gummy apple rings in half.

4.) Place a spearmint leaf, flat side down on work surface. Cut the spearmint leaf in half horizontally to make the frog feet. Repeat with the remaining candies.

FROSTING THE CUPCAKES:

1.) Spoon ¼ cup of the vanilla frosting into a resealable plastic bag.

2.) Tint the remaining vanilla frosting green with the food coloring.

3.) Spread the top of each cupcake with some of the green frosting.

4.) Roll the edge of each frosted cupcake in the green sugar to coat.

TO COMPLETE THE DECORATION:

1.) Arrange 2 cut gummy rings in the center of the cupcake, cut side down, as pictured.

2.) Snip a small corner from the bag with the vanilla frosting and pipe a dot of vanilla frosting in the center of each ring.

3.) Press a brown candy into the vanilla frosting as the pupils. Pipe white dots on the brown candies to add sparkle to the frog's eye.

4.) Press a length of red licorice lace onto the cupcake for the frog's mouth. Add the red fruit leather oval as the tongue.

5.) Arrange the cut spearmint leaves at the base of the cupcakes for the frog's feet. Repeat with the remaining cupcakes.

LOLLITOPS REVIEW

I love cute hair accessories for Brielle and I love them on all little girls in general. When I got the chance to review a hat for Lollitops I was happy. I couldn't wait to put it on Brielle. It was so cute. She wants to wear it for her cousin's birthday party next Saturday.

I received the Pastel Cupcake Bow Hat and it's ADORABLE!

This isn't just an ordinary hat though, this is a Hat/Purse. When it outgrows your child for a hat you just turn it around, pull the ribbons real tight and it's a cute purse with a cute flower on the front of it! I think this one is SO CUTE and would be adorable for any little girl.

Kim and her husband Joe have many years of retail experience between the two of them. For the past two years they have owned and run a childrens resale shop together in St. Louis, Missouri where they enjoy getting to know and give to their community. Together they have three wonderful children. They are a very busy and well grounded christian family.

Overall: **** I think they are so cute and the idea is great. I wish the Ribbons weren't so long and I also wish that there was a way for the child to make it a shoulder bag instead of just holding onto the ribbons.

Tyson votes himself out of Survivor and, worse, saves Russell + reality blurred

This unfolded in a pretty incredible way, and that troll Russell did something smart yet again. The Villains alliance wanted to get rid of Parvati and flush out Russell’s idol, so they decided to split their votes 3-3. With Danielle, Parvati, and Russell voting for one person, that’d force a re-vote even if Russell played his idol. Rob insisted that this would be the best way to ensure that they got the idol and Russell, and Tyson was assigned to vote for Russell.

While Russell anticipated that they might do this (“That would be a genius move. I don’t know if they’re that smart.”), he talked to Tyson and said he’d vote for Parvati, too. Apparently, Tyson believed Russell, so the vote then would have been 4-3-2, with Parvati going home. If that’s the outcome Tyson wanted, he didn’t have to do anything. But instead he changed his vote, apparently just to pile on (it doesn’t make sense to change it for any other reason, because even if Tyson voted for Russell, Parvati still would have had four votes).

Somewhat ironically, Tyson told me pre-game that he wanted to be “more cutthroat” because “I got screwed last time by maybe not playing as hard as I could have at a certain point in the game, this time, I’m chopping everybody down.” Of course, he only chopped himself down, which is even funnier considering that he also told me, “I need to prepare for Tribal Council like I’m being voted out.” Didn’t think about that this time, did you, buddy?
