I am very excited to share a new company with you that has a great line fun line of t-shirts and the special people that are behind Good Boy Roy. I think Zack is extremely talented and his designs are "cool" enough for kids of all ages. My daughter received the Hippie Heather t-shirt I think the design is really cool. The screen printing was done really well, and the colors of the drawing itself are nice and bright. My daughter wore it the day we received it because she liked it so much. All her friends liked the shirt also. The characters are so awesome! There are several designs that include the characters that Zack has created. Good Boy Roy is the original character created as a sort of alter ego Zack. Next there is Z Man, Crazy Timmy, Handsome Hen, Hippie Heather, Laughing Lizzy and Rocker Rick.

What is Good Boy Roy? Good Boy Roy is a new line of t-shirts designed, created and drawn by 15 year old Zack. The Good Boy Roy line of t-shirts are fun, humorous, unique and reflect some every day events many kids may do. Good Boy Roy is a fun kid, a good kid, but may do some mischievous things every now and then. The t-shirts and characters are an extension of the love of drawing and cartoon design that Zack has always enjoyed. The purpose of Good Boy Roy is to bring smiles, giggles and laughter to those that see and wear the designs and maybe see themsevles just a bit in the characters.

About the boy behind Good Boy Roy (we call him Zman): He is 15 has always loved to draw. He raced BMX bikes at one time and played baseball most of his life. Zack has always been funny, silly and loves to do impersonations. He is like most kids but has some challenges that he has struggled with growing up, like OCD and ADD, then a strep, infection which is believed to have caused him to develope Tourettes and Tics. (It's called PANDAS)This can all make things pretty chaotic. Zack's drawing usually helped him calm down, was comforting to him and is something he has always been proud of. He is a huge sports fan, his dad is from Georgia so he is a HUGE DAWG fan!!! He has one sister, Kelsie, and 4 dogs.

How Good Boy Roy began... (in Zack's words): One day my mom decided to surprise me and have Roy put on a shirt. I loved it, and so did other people. And the rest as they say is history!! The first character that came to life on a shirt was Roy, mom thought we should call him Good Boy Roy. Like me he really is a good boy but sometimes does things he should not do. And that is what I have always said after something happens that I did not mean to happen, I always say "I really am a good boy", so Roy is kind of my alter ego. I am making new characters almost every day and will put the new designs up on my website as I get them created. So, by now, Good Boy Roy has a whole gang of friends I have created, and they too are now on shirts."

HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED

SCENARIO 1: Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack.
1957 - Vice Principal comes over, look at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.
2010 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

SCENARIO 2: Buster and Dale get into a fist fight after school.
1957 - Crowd gathers. Buster wins. Buster and Dale shake hands and end up buddies.
2010 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Buster and Dale. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled even though Buster started it.

SCENARIO 3: Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students.
1957 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by the principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.
2010 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is then tested for ADD. The family gets extra money (SSI) from the government because Jeffrey has a disability.

SCENARIO 4: Billy breaks a window in his neighbor's car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt.
1957 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college and becomes a successful businessman.
2010 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has an affair with the psychologist.

SCENARIO 5: Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school..
1957 - Mark shares his aspirin with the Principal out on the smoking dock.
2010 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug violations. His car is then searched for drugs and weapons.

SCENARIO 6: Pedro fails high school English.
1957 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.
2010 - Pedro's cause is taken by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against the state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English is then banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given his diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.

SCENARIO 7: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle and blows up a red ant bed.
1957 - Ants die.
2010 - ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents -- and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are confiscated. Johnny's dad is placed on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

SCENARIO 8: Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.
1957 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.
2010 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

How times have changed.

MOSQUITOES - INTERESTING

Mosquito Spray... Worth a try... I was at the park today and they were having a party for someone and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man went to his truck and got a spray bottle. He started to spray the tables and chairs and all around the playgroung equipment too. Someone ask what was in that spray bottle the man said it was Listerine Mouth Wash. I cannot believe it in minutes the demons disappeared.

I went to Walmart and bought a bottle of Listerine for $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-Spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. I tried this on my doors (Don't spray directly on a wood door) but spray around the frame. I sprayed around the windows and you can even spray inside a dog house too. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly.

Now these are good Mosquitoes!!!

DENTEK COMFORT CLEAN FLOSS PICKS REVIEW

I don't really enjoy flossing. We all know that it's good for one's dental hygiene however they never told you about how painful it can be if you have sensitive gums and hard to reach teeth. I've tried traditional floss, floss picks, waterpiking, and so far I have to say this product blows the others out of the water in regards to people with sensitive gums and tight teeth. This product brought out the love of flossing in me. I have to say that with this pick, I can actually tell people that I enjoy flossing.

This floss is good for people with sensitive gums and really tight teeth. I use it everyday and I don't really have any issues. The first thought I had when I slid the floss in between my teeth was how waxy it felt. It just slid through my teeth like a hot knife through butter. Also it lasted for the duration of my flossing (where as the floss in the picks would snap or fray), and I really enjoyed the tongue scraper... you never know how disgusting the human mouth is until you cleaned it out.

Some of the things that I liked about this particular pick was that:

* It had a real waxy coating on the floss that kept it from fraying and snapping.
* The floss pick lasted (great quality in my book if the floss doesn't snap).
* Tongue scraper actually works without causing bleeding and pain.

Well I guess I really can say there is a dental product that I enjoy using.

I recently had the opportunity to review ReSnackIt which is a wonderful product. I have to say that I am loving reviewing reusable products that help us help the environment from using them. I am very thankful for these companies that are helping me be more eco-friendly. ReSnackIt has sandwich and snacks reusable bags. These are not only great for kids but adults can use them too. They come in great colors and designs so there is a ResnackIt for everyone. Not only are they better for the environment but they will be way cooler than anyone else's sandwich bag.

I was surprised at how well the ReSnackIt reusable bag held the snacks and food, and how durable it was. The velcro is sized in a longer strip, the ReSnackIt can accommodate even larger sandwiches like a bagel sandwich. It was easy to open and close for the kids which is important.

We really enjoyed the sprays that I received for review. My kids really enjoyed the sprays. I think they enjoyed the Monster Repellent the best as they would spray under their beds and in their closet every night before bedtime. They would laugh because they said the little monsters would run away screaming BUBBLEGUM, BUBBLEGUM RUN, RUN!!!! I was laughing so hard and it sure was fun to watch them spray the sprays where they needed it. I think this is a great product for all children.

RECIPE FOR CAJUN TURTLE

WOW! Only in Louisiana!!! OK! I am from Louisiana and this is some kind of things we do down here in the south. Now here's a new one to try. Here's a new twist on how to serve turtles.

Recipe homemade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step. Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy.

That's the Louisiana style! Give it a try sometime.

ZUBBLES REVIEW & GIVEAWAY (*CLOSED*)

My daughter loves bubbles! Zubbles are the first colored bubbles. Zubbles come in two colors Presto Pink and Blazing Blue. These colorful bubbles have come out in vibrant colors and the ink disappears on contact. It is non-staining and non-toxic, just want every mom wants to hear! I received a sample of the Presto Pink bubbles. When I opened the bottle for my daughter to go outside and play with the bubbles there was a dark ink looking liquid inside. I was a little worry about this getting on her clothes.

Brielle went outside to blow her bubbles and she wanted to see the color also. She blew a bubble and was so excited to see that it had a nice color and she got some of the bubble liquid on her shirt. The bubble liquid disappeared on her shirt quickly. I was amazed.

I liked that Brielle got to enjoy the Zubbles bubbles and the vibrant color, and it didn't leave no colored residue behind. This is a truly fun product that would make a great birthday favor, summer activity, or present.

I thought the Zubbles were very cool. I know my daughter enjoyed them and so did I. Some wands cause a soapy mess on the end of the wand where you hold it, and I was happy to not have a mess to deal with. I also liked that Zubbles had an easy handle on the wand. This is a great summer activity for any kid to enjoy! I was really pleased with the color and the lack of stains.
