CAPTAIN PLANET ON DVD PRODUCT REVIEW

Guided by the ancient wisdom of Gaia and armed only with the will to do good with the strength of the Earth itself, five young Planeteers from around the globe fight to protect the planet from those ready to do it harm. Only by working as a team will their individual powers Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart combine to form the iconic hero known as Captain Planet. Together they will right the wrongs of the Eco-Villains and prevent future crimes against the planet because an injustice against the Earth is an injustice against us all.

This is a wonderful show for kids and adults! Kids love the action and imaginative story lines while adults can learn more about saving the environment and being green! It's also gives kids great inspiration to save the planet as well. I loved the show as a kid and I especially loved that green mullet! GO PLANET!

This was one of my favorite television shows as a child. I cannot tell you how excited I am that it is finally on DVD. The Captain Planet series deals with ethics and morals surrounding the environment unlike any other cartoon series to date. This is definitely a show that parents can let their children watch without being concerned over the content.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular cartoons of the 90s, this classic is finally making its way to DVD. Whether you are reliving your childhood or introducing this series to new kids, its sure to become a classic revisited or a new classic for some. The show featured a Hollywood cast, great stories, music and animation. A must have for all nostalgic cartoon fans or for those looking to find a quality well told animated series on DVD.

More children should identify with nature, teamwork, and come together as the original Planeteers did to make a word wide difference. Being a 30 year old Planeteer myself, I could not be more excited about this! The Power is Yours!

PREFENSE REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

Finally, a unique, alcohol-free hand sanitizer that provides you and your family proactive security from germs that can make you sick. Prefense proactively and persistently offers protection from bacteria and fungi including staph, strep, E.coli, MRSA and many more for up to 24 hours or 10 hand washings without reapplication.

One Application Lasts All Day:

*No alcohol! Prefense is made of all-natural organic ingredients and has absolutely NO alcohol in it!

*Their technology protects you for 24 hours or 10 hand washings! This is what moms really love to hear about!

*Prefense is non-toxic and safe for kids! It will not hurt you if swallowed!

*Prefense is silica based which means it doesn’t dry out your hands like traditional alcohol sanitizers. It actually smoothes and softens your hands. You can totally see this when you apply it!

*Prefense protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more. They fight germs that other hand sanitizers can’t.

*Because “one spray lasts all day" their 1.5 oz Prefense Botanicals Hand Sanitizer offers 120 applications, costing only $.08 per day, compared to $1.20 per day with alcohol hand sanitizers.

I've been using Prefense for at least 2 weeks, and I would have to say it's the best hand sanitizer on the market. The foaming pump works great, and you only need one squirt, so the product lasts a very long time for the size of the bottle. The product has a very mild and pleasant smell, and rubs into your skin with basically the same consistancy as water. I also don't feel the need to re-apply the product often, since it is purported to last through at least 10 hand washings.

Two 1.5 oz bottles. Prefense Hand Sanitizer The foam sanitizer that is gentle on the skin and won't wash off! One application kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi, including staph, strep, E. coli, MRSA, and many other easily spread pathogens, for up to 24 hours or 10 hand washings. Unlike a typical 1.5-oz. bottle of sanitizer that lasts up to 22 days, a 1.5-oz. bottle of Prefense lasts for 120 days. You get unprecedented protection for just pennies per day. Made with soothing botanicals to help prevent dryness, redness, and chapping. Use for long-lasting antimicrobial protection that helps prevent the spread of germs and infection through contact. The active ingredient is AMOSILQ, a Silica Complex that kills germs on contact by actively slicing the cell wall of pathogens. Repeated use will not cause increased pathogen resistance. The highly effective, 100% organic compound is nontoxic, colorless, alcohol-free, and has a mild, pleasant citrus scent.

Prefense is offering one lucky Mother of 1 Princess and 2 Princes reader a chance to win a 8oz Prefense which offers 640 applications!

Cool green color and the handle folds for easy storage or to packing a suitcase. With the fast air velocity makse it work quick and drys even my long hair fast, less than 10 minutes for my whole head. Conair You Style 2in1 Brush Are you tired of having to search for and juggle brushes with one hand while holding your hair dryer in another? Do your hair styling tools warrant a separate piece of luggage when you travel? Conair invites you to simplify your styling routine with its new Conair® You Style™ 2in1 Brush. With an easy push of a button, it converts from a flat to a rounded brush that’s great to achieve a variety of hairstyles on almost any hair length or texture. Start with the flat brush setting for everyday brushing and use for blow dry straightening and smoothing. Slide the button and collapse the sides to convert it to a rounded brush. Once sides are in place, release the button to lock it into position. The rounded brush allows you to add lift and volume at the roots, create soft waves, or finish ends to curl under or flip up. To return to the flat brush, slide button up and position sides back to original position and release button back into locked position. The combination of bristles helps to distribute hair’s own natural oils for added shine. The vents allow airflow to reach hair for faster drying and styling. The ball tip bristles gently glide through hair for stress-free brushing. The Conair You Style 2in1 brush is available nationwide at mass market and drug store retailers, as well as at www.conair-store.com for an average retail price of $9.99. Like this 2in1 brush. I definitely use a round brush and a flat brush every day. So, having one brush that works as both is great. I found the brush very easy to use. It slides right through my hair as a flat brush. Then, with the quick push of a button and a little adjusting, it turns into a round brush. The bristles are nice and do not cause tangles. All with one brush! LOVE IT!!! :)

GORDON'S SEAFOOD REVIEW & GIVEAWAY (*CLOSED*)

Gorton's Seafood has been in business since 1894 and they run their business by a motto many of you may already know: Trust the Gorton's Fisherman. Gorton's sells a wide variety of products - grilled tilapia, grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, grilled cajun blackened fillets, grilled garlic butter fillets, fish sticks, and lemon pepper battered fish fillets to name few.

I don’t eat fish sticks as much as I did when I was a kid, but when I do get a craving for them every now and then, I’ll buy a big bag of Gorton’s fish sticks. I love the convenience of popping these fish sticks in the oven for a quick meal. They are inexpensive when buying a big bag like this. They taste good, also. My kids love these and so do I from time to time. I bake these in the oven and they are fabulous, crunchy and alot healthier for you without the extra grease from the deep fryer. Gorton's Grilled Tilapia and Grilled Fillets these are excellent. Truly a quality Tilapia filet coated with deliciousness. Very tender and flaky fish with great taste. Forget the microwave for these and bake them in you oven. Excellent entree!!! So if your look for a delicious, healthy meal for you or the family, definately go with this! It tastes home made!!

COUNTRY DANCE WII GAME REVIEW

Scoot your boots to the beat of your favorite dances with GameMill’s Country Dance, a music and rhythm video game that allows you to “honky tonk” with your friends and family in your own living room. Invite them over for a down home dance session, or practice your favorite dances on your own. The song list is HOT and the entire family will be dancin’ the night away!!

Country Dance features more than 25 songs from country music’s biggest names of past and present including Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Johnny Cash, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown Band, Tim McGraw and more.

Country Dance is easily accessible to newcomers and familiar to fans of the popular rhythm dance genre of videogames. With integrated friendly cooperative modes, anyone can pick-up a Wii Remote™ and get moving along with their favorite dance partners. For more experienced players, the perfection mode assesses each dancer’s skill and gives a score only when their move is a perfect hit.

Country Dance for Wii™ is rated E10+ for Everyone by the ESRB and is now available for $39.99. For more information about Country Dance, please visit Country Dance on Facebook or follow Country Dance on twitter @Country_Dance. Country Blast I have to say that it was an absolute blast! After trying a few times we were able to keep up with the on-screen animations, but it is not as punishing if you are not right on as some other dance games are. This is important for us because our small kids love to play as well and can do so with this game, but my husband and I also try it looking for those perfect scores.

If you are looking for a serious dance game this one is not for you. If, however ,you want a game that you can just have "silly fun" with then this is a great choice. My husband and I had to finally pull ourselves away from it because we were having just to much fun with it.

I love it. This games takes less concentration than the games that require a dance pad or a balance board; you're mimicking a dancer on-screen instead of watching for arrows and combinations. The only thing you need to use is the basic Wii controller.
