These are not books... but they were! These are real books that have been hollowed out to have a secret storage compartment inside. Secret Storage Books are so real. You can leave them out in plain sight and they look like a real book, because they are real books. When I received this Secret Storage Book I was amazed at how real it looked. I am so very happy with my book and I like that I can store little things in it.
This is a family owned and operated business located on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia. They used recycled books (many of which are purchased from charities who have received them as donations) and turn them into something fun and useful! They even recycle the scrap paper that is removed from the center of the books.
* All books are made from real, recycled books
* Most books are purchased from recycling organizations and from publishers
* 100% of every book is recycled (30% by weight as a bookbox and 70% by weight as scrap paper)
* The Book Box Company endeavors to be an environmentally responsible company
* All Bookboxes are handmade in Canada, on Vancouver Island.
