RECIPE FOR CAJUN TURTLE

WOW! Only in Louisiana!!! OK! I am from Louisiana and this is some kind of things we do down here in the south. Now here's a new one to try. Here's a new twist on how to serve turtles.

Recipe homemade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step. Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy.

That's the Louisiana style! Give it a try sometime.

I liked that Brielle got to enjoy the Zubbles bubbles and the vibrant color, and it didn't leave no colored residue behind. This is a truly fun product that would make a great birthday favor, summer activity, or present.

I thought the Zubbles were very cool. I know my daughter enjoyed them and so did I. Some wands cause a soapy mess on the end of the wand where you hold it, and I was happy to not have a mess to deal with. I also liked that Zubbles had an easy handle on the wand. This is a great summer activity for any kid to enjoy! I was really pleased with the color and the lack of stains.

2.) Put down your car window.
3.) Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
4.) Enter amount of cash required and withdraw.
5.) Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
6.) Put up window.
7.) Drive off.

FEMALE PROCEDURE:
1.) Drive up to cash window.
2.) Reverse and back up the required amount to align car window with the machine.
3.) Set parking brake, put the window down.
4.) Find handbag, remove all contents on to passenger seat to locate card.
5.) Tell person on cell phone you will call them back and hang up.
6.) Attempt to insert card into machine.
7.) Open car door to allow easier access to machine due to its excessive distance from the car.
8.) Insert card.
9.) Re-insert card the right way.
10.) Dig through handbag to find diary with your PIN written on the inside back page.
11.) Enter PIN.
12.) Press cancel and re-enter correct PIN.
13.) Enter amount of cash required.
14.) Check makeup in rear view mirror.
15.) Retrieve cash and receipt.
16.) Empty handbag again to locate wallet and place cash inside.
17.) Write debit amount in checkbook and place the receipt in back of checkbook.
18.) Re-check makeup.
19.) Drive forward 2 feet.
20.) Reverse back to cash machine.
21.) Retrieve card.

2-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN HOSPITAL WITH APPARENT DRUG OVERDOSE MOM ARRESTED

A two-year-old girl is in the hospital after apparently ingesting part of her mother's narcotic pills, officials said Tuesday.

The two-year-old is currently at Children's Hospital after being transferred from the St. Bernard Health Clinic. She was listed as in serious condition as of 9 a.m. Tuesday said the Sheriff's office. As of Wednesday morning, the child is in intensive care at Children's Hospital in New Orleans for further observation.

The girl's mother 22-year old had several types of narcotic pills in her home: the painkiller Vicodin, the muscle-relaxer SOMA, and Suboxin, a drug used for treating heroin addiction. The Sheriff's office said no prescriptions were found for those drugs, which are often illegally distributed, in the home.

The two-year-old mother was arrested on a warrant issued by a judge charging her with improper supervision of a child and three counts of possession of prescription pills found in her home on Tuesday, according to police. She was arrested Wednesday and sent to jail.

The mother had dropped the two-year-old off at a day-care center earlier in the day, but counselors saw she was lethargic and seemed to be suffering from health problems. They called the mother but she was unable to pick the child up, so the grandmother arrived and brought her to the health center.

The mother was treated and released from University Hospital in New Orleans on July 20th after the agents found her in her home having a medical problem involving a possible drug overdose, said the Sheriff office.

I guess she couldn't pick up her child because she was too busy being "treating and released" at University for her own OVERDOSE. Explains the lack of irises in her eyes! Too bad she didn't OVERDOSE on ProActive Acne Solutions and Prell! First and foremost I pray that this child survives with no long term effects from this. As far as this so called mother is concerned, first someone needs to literally knock that useless expression off her face. I am very upset about this because this women lives in my community.

A NICE EVENING WALK

Me and the kids went for a nice walk today at the Chalmette Battlefield. It was a nice cloudy breezy day. We walked the whole Chalmette Battlefield and sat on a bench and enjoyed the nice breeze in the afternoon and ate a nice cold snowball. I guess you can say we got our nice exercise at the same time too. I love walking in the afternoon when it is not as hot and it has a nicer breeze too.

We were ready to leave and we walked around the trail to go back to the car and look what we came upon a duck's nest. My daughter was walking closer to the pond and found it. Look at all those eggs. We just looked at them and then kept walking. We had a nice summer walk at the Chalmette Battlefield.

COLLEGE TIME!!!

Guess what I did today. I sat and sat and sat to be waited on with my oldest son to sign him up for his first year of college. :o) He is so happy to start at the end of August. He is so ready to take on anything that comes his way like homework and alot of STUDYING!!!! He is taking his basic and some classes for LPN Nurse. When he is finish his LPN degree he is off to more college because he wants to become a RN Nurse.

Well, yes I was so happy for him and yet a little sad for me as he is my first born and I definitely know he is growing up and becoming that man I knew he would be. He says mom don't cry or be sad I will always be here in your heart. :o) I am so very proud of him in every way. I Love You So Much My Son and Good Luck In Your College Years Ahead!!! I know you will acheive your goals in life and proud to be your mom and proud to call you my son.

A VERY LAZY SUNDAY!!!

Just woke up... So much for a productive day. Oh well, I guess I'll crawl back in that comfortable ASS bed!!! Ever had a day you don't feel like doing anything but lying in bed catching up on some sleep. Well that's what I did today. YES! slept all day and I sure needed it don't we all need a break some time! OH and the best thing I didn't cook either we had Popeyes Chicken for dinner tonight too. YUMM!!! :o)

How it is used:

FRIDAY YEAH!!!

Thank God It's Friday!!! Bare with me, I'm on a rant! Automated systems are a pain in my rear to begin with. WHY?!! When you call your general practitioner or even the dentist office to make a measly appointment do you hear, if this is an emergency hanp up and call 911. Do they really think if my heart stopped beating that my fingers could really dial the number 911. I just want to make a doctor's appointment. OK?!!

YES!!! Thank God It's Friday!!! Going out to dinner with my hubby and then coming home to watch a movie. What a relaxing evening after a long week!!! :o)

Hell, Yeah I'm Thirsty! I went to get a nice cold snowball with the kids because it is so darn HOT! We also went shopping for school supplies today too. On the way to buy school supplies I was going 75 on the interstate and here comes an elderly woman passed me up on the interstate. Go Granny!! Go! My kids were laughing. I cooked Fire Roasted Chicken with cajun potatoes and corn for dinner tonight. Now that is something good. Let me tell you.

I was watching T.V. and eating my nice cold SNOWBALL and they had Breaking News: BP Stops Oil Leak! YEAH!!! Now off to take a nice shower before my Big Brother comes on like I don't have enough drama in my household especially having my little sweet Brielle (My Daughter) crying she wants to go play and not come in and take a bathe.
